Private garden beds
MVG accommodates 67 households tending private beds growing flowers, herbs, and produce from every continent. You must be a Key Member in order to qualify for a private bed.
Applications for private beds open in January each year. The application season is announced via our email list, and beds are assigned first-come from our Wait List through May.
The current Wait List is ~2yrs but we do welcome new gardeners every season, and there are many other ways to get involved while you wait.

Communal Gardening
We have several cooperatively-run agricultural beds for English, Spanish, and Bangla speakers. You need to be a Key Member and a member of a Cooperative Ag Bed Team in order to share in the harvest. Ag Bed Team members are usually proven gardeners but they are open to gardeners of any skill level; we all learn together and encourage anyone to join, space permitting.
Regular volunteer hours with your Ag Bed Team are a requirement for participation.
MVG also has flower beds, an herb garden, berry patches, and more.
